Ahead of the match The Independent's Wimbledon correspondent Nick Bollettieri had this to say: "A word of advice from a guy who has been around the block a few times: if you're going to watch Andy Murray against David Ferrer this afternoon, pack some extra sandwiches and make damn sure you go to the rest room before the match. This is going to go some." That first set would suggest so. Second set now underway... -

Andy Murray 6-7 7-6 6-4 7-6 David Ferrer
So Murray is through to the semi-finals of Wimbledon for the fourth time in his career. And the even better news is that rather than Rafael Nadal waiting to face him, it will be Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. Still no easy task, but much more winnable I think you'll agree. -
