  • Manchester United are prepared to spend this summer “in a way we haven't seen in previous years” in order to address this season's on-field problems, according to executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward. On a day that the club announced record second-quarter revenues, Woodward also played down the impact should United fail to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League.
