  • First up today, West Brom play Liverpool - both sides coming off the back of very different fixtures in midweek. The Baggies were beaten 4-3 by rivals Aston Villa, while Liverpool thumped their city rivals Everton. Who will come out on top today?
    2/2/2014 12:53:11 PM
  • Jon Flanagan was sitting in the Liverpool Academy listening to Phil Thompson make a speech about how not to become a footballer. The subject of the talk was Flanagan's dad, John.

  • Good turnout for the Arsenal game...

(To be fair kick off isn't for about three hours)
    2/2/2014 1:08:18 PM
  • How about some team news?

  • The players are out on the pitch, which way will this one go?
    2/2/2014 1:27:35 PM
  • West Brom 0 Liverpool 0: WE'RE OFF!
    2/2/2014 1:31:33 PM

  • 2/2/2014 1:32:52 PM
  • West Brom 0 Liverpool 0: Suarez wins a free kick early on from Yacob, he lines up the shot and... it hits the way and flies out for a corner.
    2/2/2014 1:38:10 PM

  • Woy's watching West Brom

    2/2/2014 1:39:47 PM
  • West Brom 0 Liverpool 0: It's all been a bit quiet sofa, both sides seemingly sussing each other out like boxers early in a fight. Suarez showing glimpses of being a threat but West Brom have kept him largely in check so far.
    2/2/2014 1:45:38 PM

  • The rare sight of Luis Suarez rolling around on the floor

    2/2/2014 1:51:03 PM
  • GOAL! West Brom 0 Liverpool  1 - Daniel Sturridge
Too easy for Liverpool, Coutinho finds Sterling on the right hand side with a great ball. Sterling then combines nicely with Suarez who picks out Sturridge at the far post with a square cut back and the England man tucks the ball away into an essentially empty net.
    2/2/2014 1:55:21 PM
  • West Brom 0 Liverpool 1: Half an hour gone and it's all Liverpool so far. West Brom haven't really got into the game. In fact Liverpool nearly double their lead in scrappy fashion from a corner but Ben Foster just about gets his hands on the ball in a goal-line scramble.
    2/2/2014 2:04:32 PM

  • Mulumbu and Coutinho battle for the ball

    2/2/2014 2:09:31 PM
  • West Brom 0 Liverpool 1: Half time approaching and Liverpool have a free kick, but they take it short and waste the chance, the ball eventually finding its way back to Mignolet.
    2/2/2014 2:17:54 PM
  • HALF TIME - Liverpool on top
    2/2/2014 2:18:17 PM
  • West Brom 0 Liverpool 1: Second half is back underway... Can West Brom get back into this game? Will Liverpool regret not scoring again when they were on top? The next 45 minutes will tell us..
    2/2/2014 2:35:54 PM
  • West Brom 0 Liverpool 1: West Brom have come back into this game now and Mignolet makes a great save to keep a header from going over the line. Looks like things are opening up a bit.
    2/2/2014 2:42:36 PM
  •  West Brom 0 Liverpool 1: Luis Suarez could have put Liverpool two up after making a fool of West Brom's centre backs but Ben Foster makes a great stop with his legs when one-on-one to deny the Uruguayan.
    2/2/2014 2:49:35 PM
  • GOAL! West Brom 1 Liverpool 1 - Victor Anichebe
That is comical defending from Kolo Toure! He passes the ball across the face of his goal, straight to Anichebe who says thank you very much and tucks the ball away for the equaliser.
    2/2/2014 2:55:10 PM
  • West Brom 1 Liverpool 1: It's all West Brom at the moment, can they find another goal?
    2/2/2014 3:03:38 PM

  • 2/2/2014 3:14:04 PM
  • West Brom 1 Liverpool 1: Entering injury time now. Can either side find a winner? It's looking like Liverpool will be the more likely to be honest...
    2/2/2014 3:18:38 PM
  • FULL TIME
West Brom 1 Liverpool 1 - Kolo gifts West Brom a point
    2/2/2014 3:22:18 PM

    2/2/2014 3:35:04 PM

  • What an earth did someone say to Arsene Wenger?

    2/2/2014 3:55:36 PM
  • Arsenal 0 Crystal Palace 0 : Five minutes until kick off. The players are in the tunnel...
    2/2/2014 3:56:28 PM

  • 2/2/2014 4:02:04 PM
  • Arsenal 0 Crystal Palace 0: WE'RE OFF!
    2/2/2014 4:03:05 PM
  • Arsenal 0 Crystal Palace 0: No big chances after the opening five minutes, Arsenal just passing the ball about but not really able to link up with Giroud.
    2/2/2014 4:08:04 PM

  • The pre-match handshakes

    2/2/2014 4:13:12 PM
  • Arsenal 0 Crystal Palace 0: As expected Arsenal are dominating possession, but they are still struggling to make any decent chances for themselves. So far they have had only one real attempt on goal, Speroni saving well from Giroud.
    2/2/2014 4:22:49 PM

  • Giroud on the ball

    2/2/2014 4:24:13 PM

  • 2/2/2014 4:30:49 PM
  • Arsenal 0 Crystal Palace 0: Still goalless at the Emirates. Giroud wins a free kick after being fouled by Delaney. I'm going to be honest it hasn't been the best game so far...
    2/2/2014 4:34:26 PM
  • Arsenal 0 Crystal Palace 0: Anyone still awake? Speroni has to make a save, but it's a tame flick on from Mertesacker from a free kick and the keeper doesn't have to move.
    2/2/2014 4:43:55 PM

  • Tony Pulis being all pointy

    2/2/2014 4:48:01 PM
  • HALF TIME
Arsenal 0 Crystal Palace 0 - Let's hope for a better second half shall we?
    2/2/2014 4:48:59 PM

  • Two modern greats, Ozil and Chamakh, compete for the ball

    2/2/2014 5:04:13 PM
  • GOAL! Arsenal 1 Crystal Palace 0 - Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
For the first time, a gap presents itself in Palace's defence, and Santi Cazorla expertly exposes it with a great ball to 'the Ox' and the midfielder plays a dinky chip over the keeper to give Arsenal the lead.
    2/2/2014 5:06:05 PM
  • Arsenal 1 Crystal Palace 0: Oooh great chance for Palace, Cameron Jerome probably should score but he fires his header straight at the Arsenal keeper and it goes out for a corner.
    2/2/2014 5:10:56 PM

  • 2/2/2014 5:11:40 PM
  • The Independent's Steve Tongue...

    2/2/2014 5:12:17 PM

  • Oxlade-Chamberlain opens the scoring

    2/2/2014 5:15:30 PM

  • 2/2/2014 5:24:09 PM
  • Arsenal 1 Crystal Palace 0: Arsenal have by no means run away with this game since scoring, Crystal Palace are holding their own. Only problem is they aren't really creating much.
    2/2/2014 5:30:58 PM
  • GOAL! Arsenal 2 Crystal Palace 0 - Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Sorry Palace fans I think I cursed you there. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain picks up the ball in the Crystal Palace half, drives towards the box before cutting inside and firing a low shot inside the far post. Great individual goal and Arsenal have surely sealed all three points.
    2/2/2014 5:31:45 PM

  • 2/2/2014 5:39:52 PM

  • The Ox scores his second

    2/2/2014 5:42:35 PM
  • Arsenal 2 Crystal Palace 0: Coming to the end of this game now, but Crystal Palace still haven't given up. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain unsurprisingly named man of the match.
    2/2/2014 5:47:03 PM
  • FULL TIME
Arsenal 2 Crystal Palace 0 - Comfortable in the end for the Gunners but Palace look much much better under Pulis. Arsenal go back to the top of the league.
