  • One of the two opening games of the day sees Chelsea travel to Norwich after a less than perfect start to the season...

Jose Mourinho acknowledges his Chelsea side are far from the finished article and will suffer setbacks while they make advances.

The Portuguese hopes, after responding from successive defeats to Everton and Basle by beating Fulham and Swindon, drawing at Tottenham and winning at Steaua Bucharest, the Blues can win again at Norwich on Sunday.

  • Later on Arsenal will be looking to return to the top of the table with a win at West Brom, are they getting back to their best?

For Arsène Wenger, this has been a little too long coming. So much so that, when asked on Friday whether Arsenal are capable of a first title challenge since 2008, he couldn't help adding a caveat to his own utter conviction.

  • The 1:30pm kick offs are imminent, with the players out on the pitch and ready to go.
    10/6/2013 12:28:45 PM
  • Chelsea are wearing a rather fetching white, blue and red away kit at Carrow Road which is reminiscent of a French or Dutch away kit. However not sure they really need to be as it's not like their home kit really clashes with Norwich's canary yellow.
    10/6/2013 12:34:42 PM
  • GOAL! Oscar - Norwich 0 Chelsea 1
Chelsea take the lead early on through the young Brazilian but credit must go to Demba Ba who collected a long ball to him in the box, held it up and then laid it off for Oscar to strike it home first time with the outside of his foot. Good start from Jose Mourinho's men.

  • 10/6/2013 12:37:40 PM
  • What a save! John Ruddy stops Norwich from going two down. Demba Ba - who has been excellent so far - is slipped in on the left of the area but the Norwich keeper just manages to push his low shot wide of the far post.

    10/6/2013 12:53:23 PM
  • GREAT SAVE! Norwich could have equalised via Jonny Howson but Petr Cech smothers his close range effort well to divert the ball away for a corner.
    10/6/2013 12:54:24 PM
  • It's fair to say Demba Ba has had his pre-match glass of strawberry syrup because he is causing Norwich a lot of problems at the back. Just the response Jose Mourinho would have been hoping for after handing him a start.

    10/6/2013 1:40:54 PM
  • Norwich certainly look much better than they did at the start of this game and they are starting to cause the Chelsea defence a few problems, particularly as the visitors are having to deal with the sun in their eyes. Ricky Van Wolfswinkel just came very close to leveling things up for the homeside when played in on goal.

    10/6/2013 1:55:33 PM

Great assist from Ricky Van Wolfswinkel who knocks a cross down to Pilkington with his head and his teammate steers the ball under Cech and into the net to level things up.

  • Schurrle has gone to a sort of makeshift left wingback position
    10/6/2013 2:04:43 PM
  • DISALLOWED GOAL! Wanyama has the ball in the net at St Mary's from a free kick, but it's dubiously ruled out for a push in the area. Southampton stay 1-0 up.

    10/6/2013 2:09:29 PM
  • GOAL! Jay Rodriguez - Southampton 2 Swansea 0
Chico Flores is completely outsmuscled by Jay Rodriguez who cooly doubles his side's lead.
    10/6/2013 2:10:46 PM
  • GOAL! Eden Hazard - Norwich 1 Chelsea 2
After looking under some real pressure from Norwich, Chelsea lead again after a great counterattack. Oscar's through ball finding Hazard courtesy of a poor touch from a Norwich defender and the Belgian beating Ruddy with a cool finish.
    10/6/2013 2:13:31 PM
  • GOAL! Willian - Norwich 1 Chelsea 3
What a goal! Willian gets the ball just inside the area wide on the right and curls a superb left-footed strike into the corner of the net to seal the win for Chelsea. What a dramatic five minutes!

    10/6/2013 2:22:18 PM
  • FULL TIME:

Norwich 1 Chelsea 3 - Norwich almost looked like causing an upset but a late rally from the visitors ensured a comfortable scoreline in the end

Southampton 2 Swansea 0 - Not as comfortable a win as the score suggests but a clean sheet and a third successive win for Pochettino's men
    10/6/2013 2:24:46 PM
  • Well, well, well... What a couple of substitutions from Mourinho there - both Hazard and Willian getting his side out of a bit of bother. While at St Mary's by all accounts Artur Boruc has done an excellent job to prevent Swansea getting on the scoresheet and Southampton move into the top five.
