  • Just over half an hour to go until kick off, I think you all deserve some team news...

Liverpool: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Sakho, Flanagan, Henderson, Gerrard, Coutinho, Sterling, Suarez, Sturridge

Subs: Brad Jones, Toure, Agger, Aspas, Moses, Lucas, Allen

Man City: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy, Toure, Fernandinho, Jesus Navas, Silva, Nasri, Dzeko

Subs: Lescott, Milner, Negredo, Kolarov, Javi Garcia, Aguero, Pantilimon

    4/13/2014 12:00:30 PM
  • Liverpool 1 Man City 0: City trying to get back into this game as Dzeko links up with Nasri who feeds Toure. However the Ivorian hoofs wastefully over the bar and then worryingly for City supporters clutches his knee.
    4/13/2014 12:53:20 PM
  • Liverpool 1 Man City 0: Sturridge with a great chance to make it 2-0 but he can only fire wide. Toure limping and City are looking decidedly ragged.
    4/13/2014 12:54:59 PM
  • Liverpool 1 Man City 0: Yaya Toure's day is done. He is replaced by Javi Garcia. Big blow for City.
    4/13/2014 12:57:03 PM
  • Liverpool 1 Man City 0: Garcia has only been on about two minutes and already he's been booked for clattering Jordan Henderson.
    4/13/2014 12:59:58 PM
  • GOAL! Liverpool 2 Man City 0 - Martin Skrtel
Just after Gerrard is allowed a free header from a corner that Joe Hart does well to tip over, Skrtel meets the next corner and heads home to put Liverpool two up. City are getting mauled.
    4/13/2014 1:06:42 PM

  • Raheem Sterling celebrates opening the scoring

    4/13/2014 1:11:43 PM
  • Liverpool 2 Manchester City 0: Free kick to City just outside the area but it's poor from Silva who fires it into the feet of the Liverpool wall.

    4/13/2014 1:30:32 PM
  • Liverpool 2 Man City 0: We're off in the second half. No changes yet.
    4/13/2014 1:41:53 PM
  • Liverpool 2 Man City 0: Raheem Sterling makes a great run but then hideously spoons a long range shot high and wide. Good work until the finish from Sterling
    4/13/2014 1:45:55 PM
  • Liverpool 2 Man City 0: Well, well... Suarez dives as Demichelis lunges in. There's no contact and that should be a yellow card which would see Suarez sent off after his earlier card. Clattenburg has bottled that.
    4/13/2014 1:50:03 PM
  • Liverpool 2 Man City 0: City get the ball in the net but it won't count, the ball had gone out of play in the build up.
    4/13/2014 1:52:46 PM
