NFL Live - Jacksonville Jaguars vs Buffalo Bills

  • Good afternoon! Welcome to The Independent's live coverage of the Jacksonville Jaguars vs Buffalo Bills at Wembley. I'm Scott Wilson and I'll be providing updates from the second International Series game of 2015, which kicks off at 1:30pm.
    10/25/2015 12:23:57 PM
  • Wembley is starting to fill as a crowd expected to reach 85,000 awaits the Jaguars vs Bills. This is the second of three International Series games in 2015 and 13th NFL game at Wembley.

  • The Bills have a number of players out through injury. QB Tyrod Taylor (knee), WR Percy Harvin (non-injury), DT Kyle Williams (knee), RB Karlos Williams (concussion), WR Sammy Watkins (ankle) and WR Marqise Goodwin (ribs) are all out.
    10/25/2015 12:43:15 PM
  • As for the 'home' team, running back T.J. Yeldon will play. The rookie missed last week's loss to the Houston Texans with a groin injury.

  • 10/25/2015 12:53:10 PM
  • Some interesting news coming out of Buffalo regarding Percy Harvin's absence. The receiver didn’t travel due to a ‘personal issue’, according to head coach Rex Ryan, with Bills reporter Vic Carucci claiming in the week that Harvin is considering retirement.
    10/25/2015 1:01:43 PM
  • The Ohio State Marching Band are on the field delivering an outstanding pre-game show. Who knew 150 people prancing around, playing trumpets could be quite so entertaining?
    10/25/2015 1:17:12 PM
  • 10/25/2015 1:19:11 PM
  • With Tyrod Taylor out, E.J. Manuel will start for the second consecutive game for Buffalo. The last time Manuel played against Jacksonville, as a rookie in 2013, he completed 71 percent of his passes with three touchdowns - two passing, one rushing, as the Bills won 27-20.
    10/25/2015 1:20:48 PM
  • The Bills have made their way on to the Wembley Stadium in what might not feel much like an away game for Rex Ryan's team. There are plenty more Bills fans packed inside the stadium than Jaguars, who themselves are out.
    10/25/2015 1:23:15 PM
  • 10/25/2015 1:26:26 PM
  • It's worth keeping an eye on Jaguars wide receivers Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson today. The pair have combined for 948 yards and nine touchdowns in 2015.

They'll be up against Bills' cornerbacks Ronald Darby and Stephon Gilmore, who have two interceptions each.
    10/25/2015 1:28:53 PM
  • Kick-off is just minutes away. Despite their 1-5 start, the Jaguars do look like a team on the up. Almost half of the team is under the age of 24 and Blake Bortles is starting to look more and more like a franchise quarterback each game. The 23-year-old, drafted third overall in 2014, is on pace for 4,346 passing yards and 34 touchdowns.
    10/25/2015 1:34:24 PM
  • And we're off! Buffalo will start with the ball on their 24-yard line.
    10/25/2015 1:36:01 PM
  • Q1, 11:41 remaining - Bills ball
LeSean McCoy seeing plenty of the ball early on. The back powers his way to midfield with a strong run on 3rd and 6.
    10/25/2015 1:39:09 PM
  • Q1, 11:32 remaining - Bills ball
Manuel is drilled by Chris Clemons on 3rd and 10 as his pass falls incomplete. The Bills punt and Bortles and co. take to the field.

  • 10/25/2015 1:43:00 PM
  • Q1, 10:14 remaining - Jaguars ball
Well, that drive didn't last long. On 3rd down Bortles completed a pass to Hurns but the play was negated by an offensive holding call, and the Jaguars couldn't complete the ensuing 3rd and 17.
    10/25/2015 1:47:37 PM
  • FIELD GOAL! Jaguars 0 Bills 3
The Bills are the first on the scoreboard as Dan Carpenter kicks a 31-yard field goal. Buffalo entered the red zone following a 29-yard completion to tight end Chris Gragg but couldn't find the end zone.

  • 10/25/2015 1:55:50 PM

  • 10/25/2015 1:59:46 PM
  • Q1, 4:23 remaining - Jaguars ball
The Jaguars convert on 2nd and 11 but it's coming back due to a holding call. A shame, too - Julius Thomas' bobbling catch had put them in the red zone.
    10/25/2015 2:01:53 PM
  • Q1, 3:51 remaining - Bills ball
Buffalo will take over possession after forcing a 3 and out. LeSean McCoy has five carries and one reception already, though it’s no surprise the Bills offence is going through him given Sammy Watkins and Percy Harvin are both out.
    10/25/2015 2:04:38 PM

  • Not something a UK audience wants to read.
The Jaguars are signed up to play a game at Wembley through to 2020.
    10/25/2015 2:07:17 PM
  • Q1, 2:13 remaining - Jaguars ball
Jacksonville force an immediate 3 and out thanks to a sack by Tyson Alualu on 2nd down. Come on Blake, give this Wembley crowd something to cheer about!
    10/25/2015 2:09:01 PM
  • Q1, 1:55 - Jaguars ball
Oh yes, that'll do Blakey! A 22-yard completion to Allen Hurns, following by a 23 yard-pass to Allen Robinson, has the Jaguars on the Bills 28-yard line.

  • 10/25/2015 2:14:38 PM
  • TOUCHDOWN! Jaguars 7 Bills 3
The Jaguars take the lead! It's Allen Robinson who's got it, as he hauls in a 10-yard pass from Bortles. Jags' owner Shahid Khan will love that!
    10/25/2015 2:16:38 PM

  • 10/25/2015 2:19:32 PM
  • TOUCHDOWN! Jaguars 14 Bills 3
Wembley erupts as the Jaguars score their second touchdown in a matter of minutes. Chris Clemons recovered the ball after Manuel was strip-sacked and just about finds the end zone. Well, well, well - the Jaguars have come to play!
    10/25/2015 2:21:46 PM

  • 10/25/2015 2:24:53 PM
  • TOUCHDOWN! Jaguars 21 Bills 3
This is getting ugly, and fast. E.J. Manuel is picked off by linebacker Telvin Smith, who returns it 26 yards for the touchdown. That's three Jaguar touchdowns in the second quarter, which is only 2 minutes and 46 seconds old!
    10/25/2015 2:26:05 PM
  • INTERCEPTION!
That's surely the last we'll see of Manuel. He's picked off for the second time in a space of minutes, this time by Paul Posluzny. The Jaguars will take over at the 36-yard line while Manuel tries to find out how to play quarterback.
    10/25/2015 2:30:56 PM
  • TOUCHDOWN! Jaguars 27 Bills 3
    10/25/2015 2:33:30 PM
  • T.J. Yeldon, that is delightful. The running back breaks a tackle and takes it 28 yards to the crib. The Jaguars have scored 27 points this quarter, and there's still 8:25 to go.
    10/25/2015 2:34:40 PM

  • 10/25/2015 2:35:28 PM
  • TOUCHDOWN! Jaguars 27 Bills 10
Manuel shows no scarring from that horrid start to the second quarter as he finds Robert Woods in the end zone for a touchdown. There is 2:46 left in the quarter.

  • 10/25/2015 2:49:20 PM

  • 10/25/2015 2:52:00 PM

The Bills close the lead with seconds to spare in the half thanks to a Dan Carpenter field goal, his second of the day. It's now a two-score game, the Jaguars leading by 14.
