    1/31/2012 2:21:31 PM
  • When Wayne Bridge turns out for Sunderland, it will be his sixth Premier League club, making him the 11th player to play for six sides. The record is eight clubs, held by Marcus Bent.

  • Fulham are closing in on a £3m swoop for Stuttgart striker Pavel Pogrebnyak according to reports. It's complicated by work permit issues for the Russian international. Should the deal go through, it could pave the way for Bobby Zamora's departure, and perhaps Andrew Johnson's.

  • In the absense of Harry Redknapp, it's been left to coach Joe Jordan to keep the rumour mill spinning at Tottenham. He's doing a fine job as well, refusing to rule out the possibility of Juventus winger Milos Krasic making a move to White Hart Lane.
    1/31/2012 2:40:48 PM
  • Krasic to Spurs? Would be another Redknapp masterstroke... although it stifles Aaron Lennon doesnt it which is bad for #England #thfc
  • Everton are in talks to bring in Manchester City winger Adam Johnson on loan according to various reports. Would be a great signing for the Toffees and would provide the young Englishman with a platform on which to fight for an England place for Euro 2012.
    1/31/2012 2:45:58 PM
  • Adam Johnson + Mancini do have a strange relationship. wouldn't be that surprising if he went #mcfc #efc
  • The lack of cash at Goodison Park has meant little excitement for Everton fans during the transfer window over the past few years. But not today. They have had a bid for Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic accepted and are now being linked with Manchester City's Adam Johnson. Although it's not all good news as striker Louis Saha has been linked with a move to Tottenham.
    1/31/2012 2:50:35 PM
  • It's being reported that Louis Saha to Tottenham is a done deal. If so, it'll be one of the weirder ones we see today.
    1/31/2012 2:53:49 PM
  • West Brom head coach Roy Hodgson is adamant striker Peter Odemwingie is not for sale amid speculation linking him with a move to Fulham. "There has been no approach for Odemwingie, I would not welcome an approach," he said.

  • Former Liverpool defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos is expected on Wearside for a medical with Sunderland this afternoon.

  • Djibril Cisse Tweets: "Hi we are on the way to the train station 1st game tomorrow as a QPR player."
    1/31/2012 3:07:35 PM
  • Reports that Bobby Zamora has agreed terms with QPR, and it is just the medical to go before a deal is finalised.
    1/31/2012 3:08:31 PM
  • I get #QPR going for Cisse and Zamora. Good buys. But they then have Helguson, Campbell, Bothroyd, Macheda, Cisse, Zamora and Smith upfront.
  • DONE DEAL: Sky Sports have confirmed that Arsenal's Japanese winger Rio Miyaichi has joined Bolton on loan until the end of the season. JackWilshere Tweeter: "@SkySportsNews: Bolton sign Arsenal's Ryo Miyachi on loan until the end of the season. great move Ryo all the best mate!"
    1/31/2012 3:12:46 PM
  • So Bolton have signed another player on loan. Daniel Sturridge proved a big hit last season and Jack Wilshere impressed the year before that. Rio Miyaichi has just two Carling Cup appearances to his name this term.
    1/31/2012 3:14:45 PM
  • Amid all the reports of Louis Saha moving to Tottenham, there are suggestions that former Toffee Steven Pienaar could move in the opposite direction.
    1/31/2012 3:18:26 PM
  • Wigan chairman Dave Whelan has confirmed that Fulham striker Andrew Johnson rejected a move to the DW Stadium. "I've no idea why Johnson said no, I think he didn't fancy coming north. It would have been a good deal for us, but that's football," he said.

  • RT @MitchMoth: To be fair to Andy Johnson, I'm a 24 year old estate agent with some Sunday league experience and even I dont want to sign for Wigan FC.
  • There's been little today on Blackburn's Junior Hoilett. The Canadian is out of contract in the summer and after some fine display's this season, he has been one of the most talked about players during the window. We'll update you on any news.
    1/31/2012 3:29:21 PM
  • Rovers have done well this window to keep hold of Hoilett, Samba and co….however incomings, underwhelming is an understatement

  • Some more comments from Wigan chaiman Dave Whelan, this time on Tottenham: "We are used to Tottenham making a last-minute bid on transfer deadline day, and by last minute, I mean the very last minute," he told ESPN. "I have seen Spurs linked with (Hugo) Rodallega for some time, but we have not received a bid, not even an enquiry as far as I know."

  • Here's a round-up of the biggest stories today. The biggest confirmed move so far is Kevin de Bruyne joining Chelsea - although he's been loaned straight back to Genk for the rest of the season. The only other major move in the Premier League is Wayne Bridge joining Sunderland on loan from Manchester City. Of the possible deals, QPR are reportedly on the verge of signing Fulham striker Bobby Zamora and Lazio hitman Dibril Cisse. The Carlos Tevez sage rumbles on, with reports AC Milan will make a late, late bid for the City striker. City may also lose Switzerland Under-17 skipper Frederic Veseli to rivals Manchester United. Going in the other direction at the Etihad appears to be Chilean midfielder David Pizarro, who is expected to join on loan from Roma. Manchester United prodigy (and badboy) Ravel Morrison is having a medical at West Ham. Blackburn announced the signing of former Halmstad winger Marcus Olsson. Bolton have had a £6m offer turned down by Middlesbrough for Rhys Williams and Birmingham's Liam Ridgewell was poised to join West Brom. Newcastle manager Alan Pardew said the Magpies had made their final bid for Watford defender Adrian Mariappa - also a reported target of Wigan, who have reportedly had a bid accepted. Elsewhere, it is rumoured that Tottenham are interested in two forwards, the Latics' Hugo Rodallega and Everton's Louis Saha, and that Arsenal's Andrei Arshavin could be destined for a return to his native Russia with Anzhi Makhachkala.
