Welcome to The Independent's live coverage of the January transfer window deadline. It promises to be an incredibly hectic day with a number of deals having already taken place this morning.
Mario Balotelli has completed his switch to AC Milan, David Beckham is to be unveiled as a PSG player this afternoon, Paul Scharner has re-joined Wigan and Sunderland have signed Danny Graham from Swansea.
Elsewhere, QPR are after just about any player that can kick a ball - that includes Jermaine Jenas, David Bentley, Peter Crouch, Chris Samba and Andros Townsend.
Spurs goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes appears to be off on loan and while AVB says he does not expect anyone to arrive at Tottenham, Joao Moutinho and Leandro Damiao continue to be linked.
Fulham could also be busy today; Martin Jol is interested in AC Milan's Urby Emanuelson, right-back Stanislav Manolev and Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone. -
The biggest move so far today is Mario Balotelli's switch to AC Milan, which has set the Serie A side back a cool £19m.
Balotelli's arrival in Milan prompted chaotic scenes and celebrations which reportedly ended in a clashes between fans and police as hundreds of Ultras gathered outside a restaurant where the striker met club officials. -

Norwich have signed striker Luciano Becchio from Leeds in a swap deal for Steve Morison, the Barclays Premier League club have announced.
Argentinian forward Becchio, who has scored 19 goals for Leeds this season, handed in a transfer request at Elland Road last week after talks over a new deal faltered. -
Christopher Samba has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with QPR for an undisclosed club-record fee from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala, the Barclays Premier League club have confirmed.
