  • OptaJoe on Twitter: "7 - England have never won a competitive fixture against Sweden, drawing five and losing two of seven games so far. Jinx."

  • We cant complain! We face decent teams in Group D. But anyhow bring on Euro 2012, it's gonna be an interesting one!!!
    12/2/2011 6:02:43 PM
  • The luck is with us! We play against Ukraine, France and Sweden in Group D. But we dont need luck, this should be a breeze. C'mon England!

  • I'm from Poland but I don't really care about the NT yet it's gonna be my national duty to watch and suffer the Group A games! #euro2012
  • England will play France and Ukraine in Donetsk. That means a lot of travel for Fabio Capello's side, who will be based in Poland.
    12/2/2011 6:03:55 PM
  • Ireland will start against Croatia on June 10 in Poznan. Next up will be Spain on 14 June in Gdansk. They will finish back in Poznan, where they will play Italy on 18 June.
    12/2/2011 6:07:41 PM
  • Group B looks incredible - Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Portugal. Some great games for the neutrals there, particularly Netherlands v Germany which will take place on 13 June.
    12/2/2011 6:09:13 PM
  • Group A meanwhile looks very poor in comparison to the others. Poland, Greece, Russia and Czech Republic will battle it out. Co-hosts Poland will have to fancy their chances of emerging from that one.

  • #uefa seedings for #Euro2012 are an absolute travesty. Group A is a scandalous farce.
  • SIMPLE! Some of you are ragging on about the draws for Group D. Be thankful we never got to see the likes of Group B or C. Three Lions are on the way to victory!!!
    12/2/2011 6:13:06 PM
  • Going forward - the two teams that progress from Group A, will play the two teams from Group B. Therefore Group C will meet Group D in the quarter finals. What that all means is that (fingers crossed) England and Ireland could be in line for a quarter-final showdown.
    12/2/2011 6:14:38 PM
  • Perhaps getting ahead of ourselves, but... Should England escape from Group D, they are highly likely to be playing one of Spain, Italy or Ireland. Mouthwatering.

That will see Netherlands v Denmark and Germany v Portugal - a match the will pitch Real Madrid team-mates Mesut Ozil and Cristiano Ronaldo against one another. Can't wait.
    12/2/2011 6:18:14 PM
  • On Monday 10 June we will have Spain v Italy and Ireland v Croatia while Tuesday 11 June will see the Three Lions get their tournament underway with the standout fixture of Group D France v England. The final match in the first phase of games will be Ukraine v Sweden.
    12/2/2011 6:20:10 PM
  • Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni says: "We have to think about football where anything is possible, we have to play with the same mentality we have shown and I am confident. I know Italy better but every game is different, Spain are also a very, very strong team but we have to think about our moment. It is important now that our squad is complete with no injuries."
    12/2/2011 6:23:25 PM
  • Group B is a quality group Holland denmark germany and portugal, will definatly be worth watching, England should make it comfortably outta D Cant see Ireland going much further to be honest
