Euro 2012: Sweden v England
Minute-by-minute updates from England's Group D match against Sweden
-
Welcome to tonight’s crucial Group D clash between Sweden and England, here are both sets of teams:
England: Hart, Johnson, Terry, Lescott, Cole, Milner, Gerrard, Parker, Young, Carroll, Welbeck.
Sweden: Isaaksson, Grandqvist, Mellberg, Jonas Olsson, Martin Olsson, Larsson, Svensson, Kallstrom, Elm, Ibrahimovic Elmander.
Roy Hodgson has opted to bring in Andy Carroll for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, with Ashley Young moving out onto the wing, as England search for their first competitive win against Sweden.
Sweden make three changes from their first game with Jonas Olsson, Anders Svensson and Johan Elmander replacing Mikael Lustig, Ola Toivonen and Markus Rosenberg. They are currently on a run of three consecutive European Championship defeats, which is their worst spell in tournament history.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has scored in each of Sweden's last four matches, has shaken off any injury concerns and will undeniably pose the greatest threat to England’s defence.
