  • Full-time: Borussia Dortmund 1 Bayern Munich 2
    • The match kicked off at 7.45pm
    • First half ends goalless
    • Mandzukic opens the scoring for Bayern after 60 mins
    • Gundogan levels from the spot after 67 mins
    • Robben scores after 88 mins for Bayern
    • The full-time whistle goes

    5/25/2013 8:36:28 PM
  • 52 min: Dortmund doing more of the pressing so far this half but neither side particularly getting anywhere.
    5/25/2013 7:53:53 PM
  • 54 min: Great play from Robben around the edge of the box and for once he passes to a team-mate. He dins Muller but the big striker can't find space to shoot.
    5/25/2013 7:55:10 PM
  • If I were you, I'd save the praying for penalties...

    5/25/2013 7:56:21 PM
  • 57 min: Some brilliant defending there by Dortmund to keep Ribery out. The Frenchman looked to have found his way in on goal for a moment.
    5/25/2013 7:58:23 PM
  • 60 min - GOAL!!!: Bayern Munich are ahead! Ribery slips the ball into Robben and the Dutchman has finally learned how to square it. He puts the ball across goal to Mandzukic who taps it in from a yard out.
    5/25/2013 8:02:38 PM
  • 63 min: Mandzukic nearly doubles his and Bayern's tally but can't get a good connection on his shot.
    5/25/2013 8:03:55 PM
  • 65 min: Now that's what you call a clattering. Subotic comes in on Ribery to win a header and the Dortmund defender has no qualms about getting a lot of the player as well. The Frenchman is floored.
    5/25/2013 8:06:26 PM
  • 5/25/2013 8:07:11 PM
  • 65 min - PENALTY!: Dortmund have a spot-kick after Dante puts a knee into Reus in the box. Looked accidental to me.
    5/25/2013 8:08:55 PM
  • 67 min - GOAL!: Gundogan steps up and slams it to the right. Dortmund are level!
    5/25/2013 8:09:58 PM
  • 73 min: Off the line! Muller rounds the keeper but somehow, somehow Subotic is able to get back and sweep it off the line. It was just inches from going in and that has Klopp punching the air as if his side have scored a goal. That was as good as.
    5/25/2013 8:14:30 PM
  • Mandzukic opens the scoring in the Champions League final...

    5/25/2013 8:16:01 PM
  • 77 min: Alaba with a ferocious shot from the edge of the box which Weidenfeller does well to punch wide for a corner. Bayern nearly ahead there.
    5/25/2013 8:18:06 PM
  • Gundogan scores the equaliser for Dortmund from the spot...

    5/25/2013 8:18:14 PM
  • 79 min: Muller should have done better there. The striker is in on goal and with support overhits his pass. That could have been a tap-in for Bayern had he got it right.
    5/25/2013 8:20:29 PM
  • 80 min: Lewandowski is a lucky boy indeed. After a tangle with Boateng he then appears to stamp on the Bayern defender's ankle. It's missed by the officials.
    5/25/2013 8:21:40 PM
  • 83 min: Bayern look the more threatening at the moment with goalscorer Mandzukic going close with a header at the back post.
    5/25/2013 8:24:31 PM
  • 85 min: From a Dortmund free-kick Bayern break dangerously. Somehow Robben manages to foul someone rather than get a shot in on goal though.
    5/25/2013 8:26:46 PM
  • 88 min - GOAL!: Bayern are ahead. 2-1 thanks to Robben, The Dutchman skips through the defence and mishits his final shot but there's enough on it for it to trickle over the line. Surely that's the winner...
    5/25/2013 8:30:28 PM
  • 90 + 1 min: Now what can Dortmund do? Quickly they muster a shot through Alaba but Neuer is behind it. Three minutes of added time.
    5/25/2013 8:33:01 PM
  • 90 + 3 min: We've had two minutes already and at the moment it's in the hands of Neuer who's taking his time.
    5/25/2013 8:34:31 PM
  • FT: That's it - Bayern Munich are the European Champions!
    5/25/2013 8:36:09 PM
  • FT: Robben is understandably the focus of attention out there. After some silly DIY football in the first half, in the second he created one and scored another to win Bayern the Champions League.
    5/25/2013 8:37:18 PM
  • FT: Dortmund will feel hard done by - it was just as close as many predicted and the game really could have gone either way. In the end it came down to one moment in the 88th minute.
    5/25/2013 8:38:24 PM

    5/25/2013 8:39:55 PM

    5/25/2013 8:42:47 PM

    5/25/2013 8:43:47 PM
  • FT: The officials are off to collect their medals - not sure if they won or not. Their walk up the steps is greeted with boos by the Dortmund fans...
    5/25/2013 8:46:35 PM
  • FT: Now it's the turn of Dortmund to ascend those famous steps. They'll be doing it to the sound of 'football's coming home' which Bayern fans are singing with relish...
    5/25/2013 8:47:36 PM
  • FT: That's it - after a few kisses from Angela Merkel - Bayern lift the Champions League trophy. After two final defeats in the past four years - you can see how much it means to them.
    5/25/2013 8:57:23 PM
  • FT: What is it with footballers? Give them a trophy and they think they're obliged to do silly things with it. Ribery currently has it on his head.
    5/25/2013 8:59:36 PM
  • Perhaps the image of this final. After breaking Dortmund hearts, Robben goes to console defeated manager Jurgen Klopp...

    5/25/2013 9:05:33 PM
  • FT: Well that's just about it from me. Bayern Munich are the new champions of Europe - the winners of the 2012/13 Champions League. Congratulations to them and consolations to Dortmund. It was a cracking final that lived up to it's billing and one that was won by the right team on balance - just. Good night.
