  • Speaking of Zlatan, here's one he put out earlier. "The Only One".. or the "One and Only"

    4/2/2014 6:30:41 PM
  • John Terry beware...

    4/2/2014 6:33:59 PM
  • Just the 10 minutes to go, and the sprinklers are nearly finishing watering the Parc de Princes pitch. A slippery classic awaits!
    4/2/2014 6:36:02 PM
  • A big thumbs up for Schurrle down the middle it seems...

    4/2/2014 6:39:36 PM
  • And the teams are out and the Parc des Princes erupts! Just a couple of minutes to go. Will Mourinho's striker-less wonders prevail?
    4/2/2014 6:43:46 PM
  • 1 min: And the home side get us under way. Game on. Ibrahimovic gets an early touch on the ball and crosses for Lavezzi but the ball is cut out by Cahill.
    4/2/2014 6:47:20 PM
  • 3 min: GOALS FOR PSG AND REAL MADRID!
    4/2/2014 6:49:22 PM
  • 3 min: Wow! Just like last night, goals at the same time in both games. Terry's poor header goes straight to Lavezzi in the box, he chests the ball and fires it into the top corner. Chelsea allowed far too much time and space for the cross there, but it was an unstoppable rocket. And over at the Bernabeu, the Welsh wizard Bale makes it 1-0 to Real. Collecting Carvajal's low pass and stroking the ball in. Terrific start to tonight's proceedings.
    4/2/2014 6:53:04 PM
  • 7 min: Chelsea try and get back into this one but they appear shell-shocked from that early opener. They need to up the tempo and get Hazard into the action.
    4/2/2014 6:55:03 PM
  • £86m is beginning to look a pretty solid investment...

    4/2/2014 6:55:51 PM
  • 10 min: Chelsea on the attack for the first time. The false striker Schurrle lofts over the corner but it's cleared with ease. PSG break but Ramires hauls his man down. Yellow card for the leggy Brazilian, and he can have no argument with that one.  He will of course, miss next week's second leg now for his troubles.
    4/2/2014 7:00:41 PM
  • 14 min: PSG keep possession. Ibrahimovic makes the odd sublime touch, but they seem happy to sit back and frustrate Chelsea at the moment.
    4/2/2014 7:01:54 PM
  • 17 min: Chelsea try to break down the Ligue 1 leaders. Oscar gets into a position to cross down the left but Thiago Silva, sporting a protectve mask after suffering a head injury two weeks ago, makes the block.
    4/2/2014 7:05:57 PM
  • 19 min: David Luiz with a quite brilliant piece of skill to turn and run into space, but the shot is tame and doesn't trouble Sirigu in the slightest. 10 out of 10 for the invention though,
    4/2/2014 7:07:35 PM
  • 22 min: It's all Chelsea now. Keeping up the pressure. PSG have resorted to route one long balls, the ball just clattered away there form Cavani.
    4/2/2014 7:09:10 PM
  • 25 min: Ivanovic goes on the rampage down the right, but it's that man Thiago Silva again to make the clearance. PSG goe straight on the counter-attack, Ibrahimovic's incisive pass puts Lavezzi past Cahill but he hits the side netting.
    4/2/2014 7:11:29 PM
  • 26 min: PENALTY FOR CHELSEA!
    4/2/2014 7:11:42 PM
  • 26 min: But is in the bad books now.Thiago SIlva. He chops down Oscar. Hazard steps up...
    4/2/2014 7:13:03 PM
  • 26 min GOAL FOR CHELSEA!
    4/2/2014 7:13:16 PM
  • 27 min: It was never in any doubt, was it ? The calmest man in the stadium, Hazard, puts Sirigu the wrong way and scores a precious away goal for Chelsea.
    4/2/2014 7:14:08 PM
  • 26 min: During all of that fun in Paris, Real went 2-0 up at the Bernabeu. Isco giving Real distance in the first-leg.
    4/2/2014 7:16:00 PM
  • 30 min: But Chelsea can't rest on their laurels just. Lavezzi is given the tiniest bit of space in the box, he turns and shoot but Cech saves well.
    4/2/2014 7:18:09 PM
  • 32 min: Matuidi is in on the right hand side of the box, he puts in a cross but the stretched limb of Ivanovic clears. Another warning sign for Chelsea there. The resulting corner comes to nothing.
    4/2/2014 7:20:03 PM
  • 35 min: 10 minutes remain in the first half and precisely nothing to separate the teams so far. An absorbing tie in Paris.
    4/2/2014 7:21:27 PM
  • As per usual, the great Portuguese manager is turning a few heads with his style

    4/2/2014 7:23:38 PM
  • There he is, looking like a spy.. or even a Bond villian

    4/2/2014 7:25:08 PM
  • 40 min: Hazard hits the post! Willian with the cross and from a seemingly unbeatable angle fires his shot across goal. It beats Sirigu...but also comes off the post. The brilliant Belgian is up for this one.
    4/2/2014 7:26:54 PM
  • 43 min: Ibrahimovic heads across goal and Cavani goes down under the challenge of Cahill, who he had backed into. The referee Mazic says no straight away and it looked to be the correct call.
    4/2/2014 7:30:41 PM
  • HT: The whistle goes and that's it for the first half. Chelsea recovered well after their terrible start. Settling into a rhythm, Chelsea have been the better team, but with Ibrahimovic, Cavani, and the menacing Lavezzi on the opposing side, the danger will always be there.
    4/2/2014 7:33:25 PM
  • This was taken after PSG's goal. Someone should tell him he didn't score...

    4/2/2014 7:45:01 PM
  • 46 min: And the second half begins. No subs for either side. Can Chelsea continue to impress? They are out at the Bernabeu too, another Real goal and the tie is over, surely?
    4/2/2014 7:48:32 PM
  • 50 min: Torres is being put through his paces on the sidelines, does Mourinho think it's finally time to place some trust in a striker?
    4/2/2014 7:52:42 PM
  • 52 min: Chance for PSG! Lavezzi, a constant threat, meets Matuidi's cross and powers a header at goal..but it goes just over. A comfortable start to the half for the Parisians.
    4/2/2014 7:54:27 PM
  • Over in Spain, it's been all Real Madrid, toying with their German opposition. The movement of the BBC creating havoc down both channels. This time Cristiano (Ronaldo), just after a step-over crosses for Benzema, but the defender gallantly throws his body in the way,
    4/2/2014 7:57:32 PM
  • 56 min: That tricky Oscar moves to the left wing to regain some impact in the contest but he's snuffed out.
    4/2/2014 7:59:11 PM
  • 58 min: GOAL FOR REAL MADRID!
    4/2/2014 8:00:15 PM
  • 58 min: Modric dinks the ball through to Ronaldo he dribbles round the goalkeeper and taps in. Fantastic goal. Is the tie now over?
    4/2/2014 8:01:17 PM
  • 59 min: Torres enters the battleground, in place of Schurrle - (nearly) cometh the hour, cometh the man
    4/2/2014 8:02:19 PM
  • 60 min: GOAL FOR PSG!
    4/2/2014 8:02:46 PM
  • 60 min: Disaster for David Luiz. Lavezzi fires in a stinging free-kick, the ball evades everyone except the Brazilian defender - the ball pinging off his foot in the six yard box and going into an unguarded net. Quite unfortunate.
    4/2/2014 8:04:18 PM
  • 61 min: After Ibraimovic's shot is blocked, Hazard charges up the other end but can't get his effort away. It's like a game of basketball out there.
    4/2/2014 8:05:56 PM
  • 64 min: It's two-on-two as Chelsea attack, Hazard tries the early pass to Torres but Thiago Silva intercepts. Should he have taken that one on further?
    4/2/2014 8:07:43 PM
  • 66 min: A blow for spectators everywhere. Out of nowhere, Ibrahimovic has pulled up with a hamstring injury and has now been taken off by manager Laurent Blanc. He stretched it on the run forward. He's off down the tunnel for treatment. The "Only One" is now the "Lonely One".
    4/2/2014 8:10:01 PM
  • Ouch!

    4/2/2014 8:11:27 PM
  • The comparisons of the two modern-day greats will never cease. Let's enjoy them while they're here...

    4/2/2014 8:12:40 PM
  • 72 min: Approaching the final 15 minutes and Frank Lampard is on for Oscar, who has not been at his best tonight. Lampard make his milestone 100th Champions League appearance. Time for the centurion.
    4/2/2014 8:15:56 PM
  • 78 min: PSG, even without Ibrahimovic are ending the game as the stronger team. Matuidi dominating from the middle. Just sent Ramires flying.
    4/2/2014 8:20:25 PM
  • 81 min: Luiz with a free-kick 30 yards out. Can he redeem himself? No. He passes to Lampard who chips the ball into the area but it's easily cleared. Mourinho will not be happy with that one bit...
    4/2/2014 8:25:05 PM
  • 83 min: Chance for PSG! It's Cavani. He cuts in from the right, curls in a powerful effort but it just misses the target. He's been quiet tonight but can never truly be counted out.
    4/2/2014 8:27:04 PM
  • 85 min: It's all kicking off near the dugout before referee calms things down after Luiz clashes with Cavani. PSG manager Blanc even stepped in at one point. Both Luiz and Cavani receive a booking each and the game restarts.
    4/2/2014 8:30:12 PM
  • 91 min: Chance from a corner for PSG! Motta makes the leap but can't get a strong-enough head on it.
    4/2/2014 8:33:50 PM
  • 93 min: GOAL FOR PSG!
    4/2/2014 8:34:20 PM
  • 93 min: Heartbreak at the end for Chelsea. 2-1 would have been a creditable result, but Pastore weaves his way past Azpilicueta and then beats Cech at his near post. A PSG pile-on ensues in celebration. Mourinho embraces his opposite number Blanc and walks down the tunnel.
    4/2/2014 8:37:46 PM
  • FT: It's all over! A sucker punch for Chelsea. What a massive blow that was right at the death. Real Madrid, on the other hand, looked imperious tonight against Borussia Dortmund, and have one foot in the semi-final.
