  • Roll up, roll up...get your team news.

Samuel Eto'o, who has been out since Chelsea's 6-0 thrashing of Arsenal on 22 March with a hamstring injury, starts. The Cameroon forward replaces  the attacking midfielder Andre Schurrle in the starting XI, meaning that, unlike the first leg in Paris, Chelsea start with a recognised striker.

Frank Lampard comes in for the suspended Ramires.

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Lampard, Willian, Oscar, Hazard, Eto'o.
PSG: Sirigu, Jallet, Maxwell, Motta, Alex, Thiago Silva, Verratti, Matuidi, Cavani, Lucas Moura, Lavezzi

  • He's not playing. But the "Only One" is in London...

    4/8/2014 6:03:57 PM
  • Over in Germany, Borussia Dortmund, already 3-0 down form the first leg, will not have to face Cristiano Ronaldo. He is on the bench after picking up a knock in the first leg. They will, however, be up against the £86m Welsh wizard Gareth Bale.

Dortmund: Weidenfeller; Piszczek, Friedrich, Hummels, Durm; Kirch, Jojic, Grosskreutz; Mkhitaryan, Reus; Lewandowski
Subs: Langerak, Papastathopoulos, Hofmann, Sahin, Aubameyang, Schieber, Ducksch

Madrid: Casillas; Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrao; Alonso, Modric, Illarramendi; Bale, Benzema, Di Maria
Subs: Diego Lopez, Varane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Casemiro, Nacho, Morata, Isco
    4/8/2014 6:19:02 PM
  • They may have to overturn a two-goal deficit and history certainly does not favour them either. But HERE are 10 positive reasons why Chelsea can still progress to the semi-finals.
    4/8/2014 6:22:53 PM
  • Eto'o will lead the line for Chelsea, but, like Rooney against Bayern tomorrow night, it is a case of "desperate times..." Mourinho says he is not 100%, but he is "ready to play".

    4/8/2014 6:24:55 PM
  • And the teams emerge down the tunnel, just three minutes until kick-off...Chelsea can't pull this off, can they?

  • 1 min: And Chelsea get us under way at Stamford Bridge...
    4/8/2014 6:46:42 PM
  • 3 min: A rather tidy piece of keep ball from the home side is the only action of note so far. They'll have to show more incision to turn this one around, but it's early days yet.
    4/8/2014 6:49:39 PM
  • 4 min: Chelsea keeping up the pressure to shackle their Parisian foes, Cahill goes in a bit strong on Lavezzi, but a card is not given. In fact, Lavezzi was offside either way. He'd already made it 1-0 to PSG by this time last week so Cahill wasn't taking any chances...
    4/8/2014 6:51:33 PM

  • 4/8/2014 6:53:07 PM
  • 7 min: Lampard is called back for a foul on Lucas Moura, but the veteran England midfielder avoids a booking. PSG looking sharp on the perfect Stamford Bridge pitch.
    4/8/2014 6:54:07 PM
  • 9 min: Chance for Chelsea! Eto'o, the fox in the box, has a glimpse at goal in the area after receiving Oscar's tricky pass. But Alex, the former Chelsea man, charges in to deflect it over. Encouraging..
    4/8/2014 6:56:38 PM
  • 11 min: Chelsea continue their attacking start. Terry powering up from his centre back position to get stuck but the pass is cut out. He went ran straight to the PSG area there too. Total Football indeed.
    4/8/2014 6:59:32 PM

  • 4/8/2014 7:00:22 PM
  • And Di Maria has just missed a penalty for Real Madrid against Borussia Dortmund! Weidenfeller with the save. How Ronaldo would have loved to take that one...
    4/8/2014 7:03:16 PM

  • 18 min: An absolutely massive blow for Chelsea there. Hazard, their menacing playmaker has been taken off injured and is replaced by  Schurrle. How badly he was needed...
    4/8/2014 7:05:42 PM
  • 21 min: Buoyed by the injury to their opponent's key man, PSG keep possession, the clever runs of Lavezzi proving difficult to deal with yet again.
    4/8/2014 7:09:04 PM
  • 23 min: Willian takes out Lucas Moura to concede a free-kick and receive a yellow card for his troubles. In a rather tasty central position for Cavani, or Alex, too...
    4/8/2014 7:10:41 PM
  • 24 min: Cavani tries to curl one in but he can't get it past the wall. Quite the tame effort in the end.
    4/8/2014 7:11:38 PM
  • GOAL! BORUSSIA DORTMUND 1 REAL MADRID 0!
    4/8/2014 7:11:57 PM
  • 24 min: Reus bursts forward to capitalise on Pepe's weak header to goalkeeper Casillas to bring the German's back into the tie. They now trail by two goals. Who said it was mission impossible?
    4/8/2014 7:13:52 PM
  • "Where is Zlatan?" I hear you cry. Here he is...looking quite content in the stands.
    4/8/2014 7:16:23 PM
  • 30 min: Half an hour gone and a comfortable start for PSG,  their night made all the easier after the dangerman Hazard was forced off early.
    4/8/2014 7:17:48 PM
  • GOAL! CHELSEA 1 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN 0
    4/8/2014 7:18:28 PM
  • 31 min: What was that about a comfortable start for PSG? Schurrle, who replaced Hazard, has just put the Blues 1-0 up. From a corner, David Luiz heads on and Schurrle runs in unmarked to give 'keeper Sirigu no chance. Just the one goal deficit now. Game on!
    4/8/2014 7:20:44 PM

    4/8/2014 7:24:49 PM
  • 38 min: Thiago Silva limps off after a clash with Eto'o. But the defender, sporting his protective mask again tonight, is used to the wars. He turns down the option of a stretcher and waist to come back on.
    4/8/2014 7:26:46 PM
  • 40 min: Cavani attempts to take a quick free-kick, but takes it rather too quickly and is booked by Portuguese referee Pedro Proenca. He's out of the next round now too if PSG make it past Chelsea. What a shame.
    4/8/2014 7:29:31 PM
  • The view from the bench: Ronaldo's reaction to Dortmund's second goal...

    4/8/2014 7:31:55 PM
  • HT: The referee blows up, and in both ties, it's game well and truly on! Hazard may have gone off for Chelsea but his replacement Schurrle has reduced Chelsea's deficit. Over in Germany, Dortmund are close to a miracle. 3-0 down from the first leg against Real but they have already scored twice to make it 3-2. There will only be more drama to come in the second half of both fixtures...
    4/8/2014 7:35:15 PM
  • No attempts there for PSG in the first half...

    4/8/2014 7:55:11 PM
  • 52 min: Oscar  takes the free-kick and it hits the bar! Incredible scenes as Chelsea are denied by the bar yet again. They have come out for the second half all guns blazing. Can PSG withstand the Blue barrage?
    4/8/2014 7:57:11 PM
  • 54 min: The former Newcastle playmaker Cabaye is sent on by PSG manager Laurent Blanc. Matuidi powers forward and taken out by Ivanovic on the edge of the area. The Serbian defender is given a yellow and will miss the next stage should Chelsea make it.
    4/8/2014 7:59:03 PM
  • 56 min: Lavezzi pings over the resulting free-kick but Cech does well to parry out the ball through the crowded players.
    4/8/2014 8:01:07 PM
  • 58 min: Cavani and Lavezzi have not lived up to their lethal reputations, and only one team look like scoring the next goal tonight, the home side. That would of course, put Jose Mourinho's team through as it stands too..
    4/8/2014 8:03:28 PM
  • 64 min: Chelsea win the corner, but Cavani clears, looking better in defence than he has in attack tonight. Chelsea keep up the pressure, and have just thrown on Demba Ba in place of Lampard.
    4/8/2014 8:08:59 PM
  • 66 min: A rare chance for PSG, Lucas Moura meets the free-kick but can only head wide. Chelsea then go on the counter, Ba heads on to Schurrle who gets his shot away, but Maxwell slides in to take the sting out of it.

  • Closing on the final 15 minutes. All to play for in both ties. A thrilling conclusion awaits...
    4/8/2014 8:16:40 PM
  • 75 min: Mourinho beginning to grow more and more animated on the touchline. Ba goes down in the box and clashing with Thaigo Silva but nothing is given. PSG starting to have more success in the middle and Cabaye hits a marvellous cross-field pass to put Cavani through on goal but he blazes it over the bar. The Uruguayan could have put one PSG foot in the semi-final there..
    4/8/2014 8:21:14 PM
  • We're approaching the final 10 minutes, and one would not bet against some late drama either here at the Bridge, or at the Westfalenstadion..

  • 85 min: Now Chelsea try and bundle it in, A spot of head tennis in the box before Eto'o gets a shot away but his effort is blocked. It's all Chelsea but there is less than five minutes before injury time.
    4/8/2014 8:28:44 PM
  • GOAL! CHELSEA 2 PSG 0!
    4/8/2014 8:29:24 PM
  • 86 min: Amazing scenes at the Bridge! Even Mourinho is on the pitch! Demba Ba bundles it home and Chelsea overturn the two-goal deficit they needed. Like a young Barry Fry, Mourinho gleefully ran all the way down the wing to celebrate with his players there. What a moment!

    4/8/2014 8:33:30 PM
  • FT: Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Real Madrid It was a gallant effort, but it's all over in Germany. Dortmund devastation as Madrid limp though. They power of a first-leg three-goal lead if there ever was one.
    4/8/2014 8:35:55 PM
  • FT: Chelsea 2-0 PSG:  The French side have a corner, but Cech punches away and then makes another save..and it's all over! Chelsea have done it.
