  • Someone is devastated to be left at home nursing an ankle injury...

    11/6/2013 7:29:56 PM
  • 11/6/2013 7:32:32 PM
  • Another one on the sidelines for the Gunners...

    11/6/2013 7:36:45 PM
  • Five minutes to go, and the atmosphere is building to a crescendo at the Westfalenstadion. "You'll Never Walk Alone" the Dortmund fans sing. For Arsenal, Anfield has turned bright yellow..
    11/6/2013 7:42:08 PM
  • 1 min: The match kicks off at the rain-lashed Westfalenstadion.
    11/6/2013 7:45:56 PM
  • 4 mins: After Arsenal kept possession nicely, Dortmund win the ball...and in flash, the dangerman, Lewandowski, gets into space in the area and looks to turn, until Mertesacker makes a timely interception. The resulting corner comes to nothing.
    11/6/2013 7:51:56 PM
  • A slight resemblance...

    11/6/2013 7:53:35 PM
  • 8 mins: The ball has been constantly in Arsenal's half, Dortmund's midfield, especially Mkhitaryan doing a fine job of hounding the opposition at the moment. Applying pressure like there is no tomorrow.
    11/6/2013 7:55:40 PM
  • 10 mins: Arsenal beginning to have a little bit of joy down the right wing. Cazorla's cross goes out for a corner, which is floated in by Ozil but punched away by Weidenfeller between the sticks.
    11/6/2013 7:58:16 PM
  • 12 mins: Two fine tackles from Mertesacker put Arsenal on their way to an attack, Rosicky spreads the ball to the left, but Cazorla can not control it. Some crucial blocks made by the big German already.
    11/6/2013 8:00:40 PM
  • GOAL UPDATE! Marseilles, the Group F whipping boys, have gone 1-0 up at Napoli.
    11/6/2013 8:02:04 PM
  • 16 mins: CHANCE! From a free-kick, the ball is headed to the centre-back Subotic, who steers the ball across goal. It beats Szczesny...but goes narrowly wide. There was the first big chance.
    11/6/2013 8:03:56 PM
  • How Twitter saw that chance...

    11/6/2013 8:04:44 PM
  • 20 mins: For possibly the first time this season, link-up man Giroud's touch lets him down. His pass on an Arsenal break collected calmly by Sokratis.
    11/6/2013 8:07:17 PM
  • 22 mins: Arteta tangles with  Blaszczykowski, and receives the first  yellow card of the game. Dortmund's midfield has had the upper hand so far, looking far busier.
    11/6/2013 8:10:31 PM
  • 25 mins: CHANCE! Blaszczykowski  takes one on the volley from a tight angle, but can only hit it wide. Dortmund starting to look dominant.
    11/6/2013 8:13:14 PM
  • GOAL UPDATE! Napoli, with two goals in three minutes, have gone 2-1 up at home against Marseilles. Rafa Benitez's team now lead Group F with nine points, Dortmund and Arsenal behind them on seven points.
    11/6/2013 8:16:37 PM
  • GOAL UPDATE! That opportunist Eto'o has been at it again...with Hildebrand dallying on his kick, the Cameroonian charges forward..and it deflects in. Cheeky, cheeky.
    11/6/2013 8:19:16 PM

  • 11/6/2013 8:19:59 PM
  • 35 mins: The pressing of Dortmund giving Arsenal no room to manoeuvre at all , the game echoing the first half at the Emirates a fortnight ago.
    11/6/2013 8:23:48 PM
  • 37 mins: CHANCE! Lewandowski powers forward, Blaszczykowski receives the ball, plays it to Mkhitaryan at the edge of the area..he places his shot...but it goes just wide of Szczesny's goal. Arsenal starting to look ragged. That was the best chance of the match there.
    11/6/2013 8:27:34 PM

  • 11/6/2013 8:28:05 PM
  • 42 mins: Arsenal will be grateful for the half-time whistle at this rate, as they  look to retain possession...
    11/6/2013 8:28:59 PM
  • 43 mins: But they do not retain it for long, the ball  is played to Lewandowski just outside the area, who lashes a shot at goal as the rain lashes down. However, like all of Dortmund's efforts tonight, it goes wide.
    11/6/2013 8:31:11 PM
  • HT:  The whistle goes...Arsenal pleased to have made it without conceding, but Dortmund have been far from accurate in front of goal. Remember, head-to-heads count over goal difference in the Champions League group stage - so as long as the two teams have the same amount of points, Arsenal will always be behind Dortmund due to their 2-1 win at the Emirates two weeks ago.
    11/6/2013 8:36:49 PM
  • A common theme from the half - Arsenal's midfield, including Ozil, being pressured off the ball.

    11/6/2013 8:38:25 PM
  • Another common theme - Dortmund missing the target. They had six attempts in the half, but only one troubled Szczesny

    11/6/2013 8:40:36 PM
  • 46 mins: The second half gets underway, and Arsene Wenger emerges a minute after kick-off. Luckily for him he didn't miss anything..
    11/6/2013 8:49:19 PM
  • 48 mins: Dortmund attack down the right, the ball is crossed in low but Ozil makes a great interception, and clears the ball. All Dortmund so far...
    11/6/2013 8:51:44 PM
  • 49 mins: CHANCE!...another chance goes begging. Reus' header is palmed away superbly by Szczesny. Mkhitaryan then powers a long range shot from a rebound from the resulting corner, but it sails high above the goal.
    11/6/2013 8:54:32 PM
  • 51 mins: DISALLOWED GOAL!  No surprises who it went to. Reus has the ball in the net, but he was caught offside after his rebounded effort from Szczesny's save. Arsenal living dangerously..
    11/6/2013 8:59:42 PM
  • 60 mins: The Gunners try to keep the ball but they are charged down straight away, Dortmund playing more of a counter-attacking system in this half, and starting to look lethal.
    11/6/2013 9:02:11 PM
  • 62 mins: GOAL! Borussia Dortmund 0 Arsenal 1 He can even head the ball in from five yards...Ozil floats it in, Giroud challenges for the ball, it drops to Ramsey, who dives in to head it past Weidenfeller. His magical season just keeps on getting better. His 13th for club and country.
    11/6/2013 9:05:57 PM
  • 65 mins: CHANCES BOTH ENDS! End to end stuff, Reus' shot creeps narrowly wide in the box, Arsenal break, Ramsey with another chance in the area but Weidenfeller stands tall. Then from a corner, Giroud slides in and the ball is cleared off the Dortmund line. All action in Group F...
    11/6/2013 9:10:29 PM
  • The unstoppable Ramsey deservedly getting the praise...

    11/6/2013 9:12:01 PM

  • 11/6/2013 9:13:04 PM
  • These two watching at home must be over the moon..

    11/6/2013 9:14:20 PM

  • 11/6/2013 9:15:37 PM
  • A very economical opener. Ramsey heading in with Arsenal's first attempt on target.

    11/6/2013 9:16:39 PM
  • 78 mins: After all that back and forth action, with their tails now up, confident Arsenal knock the ball around. A defensive change made by Wenger - Monreal comes on for Cazorla.
    11/6/2013 9:21:57 PM
  • 80 mins: Koscielny is clattered by goalkeeper Weidenfeller when jumping up for the cross. The Frenchman looks to have landed awkwardly on his back, but he is now up again and playing on.
    11/6/2013 9:24:32 PM
  • 85 mins: Five minutes remain, but Dortmund, like Koscielny moments ago, seem to have had the wind knocked out of them. Arsenal content as the game drags on into the closing stages..
    11/6/2013 9:29:07 PM
  • 88 mins: Cometh the, erm, hour...Bendtner is summoned from the Arsenal bench. One can only wonder if Wenger will be using his height for defensive tasks?
    11/6/2013 9:30:56 PM
  • 89 mins: CHANCE! Lewandowski beats Szczesny to the cross..but he can only head the ball over. Dortmund's wasteful night continues.
    11/6/2013 9:32:31 PM
  • 90 mins: Another defensive change for Wenger after Monreal earlier. Vermaelen, the club captain don't forget, replaces Rosicky.
    11/6/2013 9:33:29 PM
  • 92 mins: Two minutes of injury time remain, Arsenal on the cusp of a famous victory...
    11/6/2013 9:34:46 PM
  • FT: Borussia Dortmund 0 Arsenal 1 There have been a few "one-nill to the Arsenal's" over the years, and here is another for the history books. Lewandowski looks to be pulled back by Mertesacker in the area right before the whistle but the referee turns away...and it's over! Arsenal become the first team to win away at Dortmund in the Champions League.
    11/6/2013 9:42:20 PM

  • 11/6/2013 9:43:51 PM
  • As we wrap up tonight's action, here's what Ramsey had to say on the victory:

"We were great defensively. We kept our shape well, and it was a great away performance from the lads."
