    7/18/2013 4:00:27 PM
  • England 229/4 (Bell 84, Bairstow 51)
Siddle bowls a maiden - a surprisingly rare event for Australia today. The tourists bowling has been much looser than it was at Trent Bridge.

  • Ian Bell on the attack
by Charles Reynolds on Jul 18, 2013 at 4:04 PM

    7/18/2013 4:04:51 PM
  • England 232/4 (Bell 85, Bairstow 52)
Agar continues and despite bowling a no ball, it's a pretty decent over, just three coming from it. He's been Australia's second most economical bowler today.
    7/18/2013 4:07:34 PM
  • England 234/4 (Bell 86, Bairstow 53)
Bit of luck for Bairstow, he plays a horrible looking pull shot which he top edges square but it lands in front of the fielder running in to claim the catch. Not a good shot.
    7/18/2013 4:10:02 PM

  • Bairstow reprieved by a no ball as he makes his way off the pitch
by Charles Reynolds on Jul 18, 2013 at 4:12 PM

    7/18/2013 4:12:50 PM
  • England 234/4 (Bell 86, Bairstow 53)
Agar nearly cleans up Bell with a very full ball that squirts off his bat and somehow misses the stumps on the way through. A maiden.
    7/18/2013 4:15:15 PM
  • England 253/4 (Bell 96, Bairstow 62)
Watson bowls the first over after the drinks break and Bell drives elegantly through the covers but the ball is just hauled in before the rope and they pick up three.
    7/18/2013 4:42:05 PM
  • England 259/4 (Bell 97, Bairstow 66)
Pattinson bowls and Bell picks up a single before Bairstow has a boundary with a well struck on drive that races down the hill for four.
    7/18/2013 4:46:37 PM
  • 100 FOR IAN BELL
    7/18/2013 4:48:11 PM
  • England 267/4 (Bell 105, Bairstow 66)
That's three successive Ashes hundreds for Ian Bell, after centuries at Sydney and Trent Bridge. Another superb knock.
    7/18/2013 4:51:58 PM
  • England 267/4 (Bell 105, Bairstow 66)
Siddle back into the attack and it's a maiden. New ball just four overs away for Australia.
    7/18/2013 4:55:58 PM
  • That's all from us today, I hope you can join me again tomorrow for all the action from Day Two.
