  • Australia 281/9 (Haddin 60, Pattinson 21) - AUSTRALIA NEED 30 RUNS TO WIN
Broad comes into the attack to replace the expensive Finn and he tightens things up for England with a maiden.

Bad news for England is that Anderson has gone off the field either with cramp or injured. Bresnan on as a substitute fielder.

  • Australia 282/9 (Haddin 61, Pattinson 21) - AUSTRALIA NEED 29 RUNS TO WIN
Another single to Australia and Swann then races through the rest of the over to Pattinson who stands firm in defence. This is getting too tense, I feel a bit sick.
    7/14/2013 12:17:08 PM
  • Australia 283/9 (Haddin 62, Pattinson 21) - AUSTRALIA NEED 28 RUNS TO WIN
Mix up for Australia as Brad Haddin nearly runs himself out, but Bairstow misses badly with his shy at the stumps. Was that England's chance? Broad bowls a great slower ball which completely deceives Pattinson but misses the outside edge.
    7/14/2013 12:21:51 PM
  • Anderson is back on the pitch which is good for England
    7/14/2013 12:22:19 PM
  • DROPPED CATCH! Finn spills a difficult chance running round on the boundary and to make things worse it foes for four.
    7/14/2013 12:24:19 PM
  • Australia 289/9 (Haddin 68, Pattinson 21) - AUSTRALIA NEED 22 RUNS TO WIN
Four for Australia from Finn's spilled chance and then Swann nearly gets Haddin chopping on to his stumps as the ball keeps low, but it just about stays out.

  • Fantastic time-wasting from Stuart Broad to try and make it the last over before lunch but unfortunately it fails.
    7/14/2013 12:30:54 PM
  • Australia 291/9 (Haddin 69, Pattinson 22) - AUSTRALIA NEED 20 RUNS TO WIN
Just a couple more to Australia as lunch approaches
    7/14/2013 12:32:00 PM
  • Australia 291/9 (Haddin 69, Pattinson 22) - AUSTRALIA NEED 20 RUNS TO WIN
Maiden from Swann, that's lunch although I'm not sure how anyone can have an appetite after this cricket. It's far too tense!

Maiden over to start with from Anderson. The tension increases...
    7/14/2013 1:15:30 PM
  • Australia 291/9 (Haddin 71, Pattinson 25) - AUSTRALIA NEED 15 RUNS TO WIN
Ergh, Pattinson gets a big inside edge on one from Swann and it runs away for three. Australia take five in total from the over.

  • What an amazing game! Thank god it didn't end up being as close as Edgbaston 2005, I don't think I could have taken any more of that.

Fantastic performance from James Anderson, 10 wickets in the match.
