    Murray gets off to a good start winning the first two points of the game and has the chance to break after the Bulgarian brings it back to deuce, but Dimtrov recovers well to keep serve.

He gets two break points and positively moves towards the net, with Murray's backhand passing shot landing outside the line to give Dimitrov a 3-1 lead.

    The 23-year-old is looking confident and is playing with no fear. Murray is struggling to adapt to the Bulgarian's agile play, hitting another unforced error into the net and Dimitrov seals a love-service game. Murray needs to get going quickly, or he'll soon find himself in trouble.

    DIMITROV BREAKS AGAIN: Dimitrov is looking incredibly impressive in these early stages, hitting a powerful forehand winner off Murray's second serve for a 0-30 lead. Murray then struggles to keep up with subsequent rallies as he waits for the Scot to make a mistake, and he obliges, twice slicing into the net. The crowd try to lift his spirits but he's really struggling.

    SET! Murray wins the first point to boost his confidence but Dimitrov soon fights back. Murray lethargically hits into the net to give the Bulgarian a double set point, and after a lengthy rally, the 27-year-old hits his 9th unforced error of the set to hand the Bulgarian the first set.

    Just as it seems Murray is coming back into this match, Dimitrov shows once again why the tennis world is taking note of him, forcing Murray into two more unforced errors. The no. 11 seed sends Murray out wide with a 121mph serve and executes his serve-and-volley tactic to perfection, despite the Scot's best efforts.

    Murray showing signs of a lack of composure as he registers back-to-back double-faults. The crowd once again urge the Scot to carry on and he responds, powering two shots into the corner that Dimitrov can't get to. He recovers, taking the game to deuce and Murray takes advantage, playing a clever shot down the line to calm his nerves and keep serve. He really needed that one.

    Dimitrov is playing superbly at the moment, serving in the region of 133-135mph to make life difficult for Murray. The Bulgarian is dictating the play and serves a perfect service game to level proceedings at 2-2.

    After his early wobble, Murray appears to be growing into the game and holds his ground after Dimitrov advances to the net to get the all important 40-15 lead, before Dimtrov unusually hits his return long.

    A slight lapse in concentration sees Dimitrov lash at a good smash opportunity but recovers to 30-15. Dimitrov refuses to give up as Murray sends him racing round the court with some entertaining play at the net, but then lazily slices wide to bring it to deuce. A well-placed 121mph ace gives him the advantage and Murray's luck is definitely out when his string breaks, allowing Dimitrov to keep serve.

Murray is then stunned by a breathtaking forehand winner down the line and loses another two points to hand Dimitrov another break point. Murray double-faults at the crucial moment and he now needs something special to save his Wimbledon dream.

    Even despite slipping, Dimitrov manages to get back up into position and wins the point to make it 15-15. A rare double-fault from him hands Murray a chance for a break, but he squanders his chance, slicing into the net, and Dimitrov makes no mistake with a fantastic ace to return for the set.

    GAME, SET AND MATCH! The Bulgarian has played exceptionally well today, leaving hardly any room for error, and can see the finish line. Dimitrov is gifted the chance to dump the defending champion out but a brave and brilliant forehand down the line from Murray provides a temporary reprieve. However, he hits into the net and Dimitrov deservedly progresses to the semi-final with a straight-sets victory. He has been sensational today.
