FT: Watford climbed into the top half of the Premier League table with a 2-1 victory over bottom Newcastle United while fellow North East side Sunderland surrendered to a 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth.

Leicester City remain unbeaten under Claudio Ranieri after yet another comeback saw them reverse a two-goal deficit to pick up a draw courtesy of strikes from Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy.

Saido Berahino, who pledged never to play for West Brom, guided the Baggies to a narrow win against Midlands rivals Aston Villa while Kevin Mirallas was sent off late on during a timid 0-0 draw between Everton and Swansea.
